Is it possible to assign the status of traveler to another person in the package travel contract?

Yes, the traveler may transfer his position in the package travel contract to a person who meets all the conditions applicable to that contract/trip. The transfer must be communicated in advance to the organizer and, where appropriate, to the retailer on a durable medium and be made at least seven days before the start date of the package.The organizer and, where appropriate, the retailer, must inform the transferor of the actual costs of the transfer of the status of traveler to the transferee and the latter shall be jointly and severally liable with the transferor for the outstanding amounts of the price, and other amounts generated by the transfer.
