Is it appropriate to modify the price of a package tour?

Be careful! You can only increase the prices unilaterally if the package travel contract expressly reserves that possibility, and in addition, it is established that the traveler is entitled to a reduction of the same for identical concepts which are: (a) the price of passenger transport arising from the cost of fuel or other energy sources, (b) the level of taxes or fees on the travel services included in the contract, required by third parties not directly involved in the execution of the package, including tourist, landing and embarkation or disembarkation fees, taxes and surcharges at ports and airports, or (c) currency exchange rates applicable to the package.In principle, the price may only be increased, unilaterally, by a maximum of 8% or, otherwise, the traveler may choose to cancel the trip without charge.
